On-Site Panel Commissioning
Commissioning is the critical stage that confirms an industrial panel functions as designed before it is handed over to the operations team. ElektroBee provides on-site commissioning services that include thorough testing and documented results.
Commissioning Stages
Our commissioning process follows a structured sequence:
- Visual inspection - Verifying that the physical panel matches the design drawings, confirming component placement and wiring connections.
- Continuity testing - Measuring resistance on each cable run to ensure no broken or miswired connections exist.
- Insulation testing - Checking conductor-to-conductor and conductor-to-ground insulation with a megger tester.
- Functional testing - Powering the panel under limited load and testing control, protection, and communication functions one by one.
- Load simulation - Running normal operating scenarios and emergency conditions to validate protection response.
Test Documentation
Each stage produces test records that we compile into a commissioning report. The report includes measurement values, pass/fail outcomes, and notes on any adjustments made during the process. This document becomes a vital archive for audits, maintenance, and future troubleshooting.
Operational Handover
After all tests are complete, we conduct a briefing session with your operators and technicians. The session covers panel functions, start-up and shutdown procedures, and basic alarm handling steps.
ElektroBee ensures your panel is ready for operation with high confidence, minimising the risk of disruptions when production begins.
